A Special Outing

Today, Meredith took a very important step into becoming a big girl....she went to Chuck-E-Cheese for the first time.

Meredith is all dressed up and ready to go. This is one of her favorite spots in the house because she can watch the dog out of the back window.

Of course, Meredith takes her shoes off every 5 minutes. Next stop Chuck-E-Cheese!

I think she liked this ride the best.

Hey Chuck, quit side-seat driving!

Be sure to check your blind spot before changing lanes....

Whew...all this playing has me thirsty!

Meredith...don't you know you're not supposed to drink and drive?

Tupper Lake: Adirondacks, NY 2007

This month we had our first major family vacation. We traveled to the Adirondacks to stay at the family campsite in Tupper Lake, NY. It was a lot of fun. Meredith enjoyed being outdoors and playing in the Crow's Nest. There was plenty of swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing.

Earlier this year, a tree fell on the cook shed and broke the roof and doors. Here is a picture of the repairs. Sue and John made the doors themselves. Many members of the Potterton family pitched in to build a new roof.

This is the Boat House. This is where Nancy, Meredith, and Josh slept.

Instead of a high chair...Tupper Lake has the "airplane" seat.

Being on vacation doesn't change the fact that Meredith likes to take her shoes off at every opportunity....

Here are some of the scenic views at Tupper....

After leaving Tupper, we spent a day in Auburn, NY with Nancy's brother's family. The kids had a blast playing with each other.
