Merry Christmas everybody. I hope this blog finds you all well, happy, and healthy. Here are a few pics before the big day. I'm sure we'll have some Christmas Day pictures in the near future. Cheers!

We went to a holiday Christmas party. Pop and Susie made the Monday evening trip up to our house to babysit.

Susie brought a Christmas pop up book that made sounds when you opened the page. Meredith loves it.

Today, we went to the mall which opened early. Meredith was all ready to go thanks to another hand-made hat from Aunt Kathy.

November 2006

Hello everybody. It has been a few weeks since our last post. Meredith is growing and developing very quickly. She is 6 months old this week (which unfortunately means more shots...booo!). This week also marks Meredith's first Thanksgiving. She has been eating vegetables like peas and sweet potatoes so hopefully, she will have as much fun as we do. Also, I would like to wish Grandma Susie a happy birthday on November 23rd.

Meredith's new trick is getting up on all 4's...

Whew! I made it. Next stop...crawling! Oh, and can I borrow the car, dad?

Hello everybody. It's November and Fall is in full swing here in North Carolina. We thought it would be great to get a few seasonal pictures. Thanks again to Kathy for the very cool hat. Nancy took these pictures and they turned out wonderful. Enjoy!

Halloween 2006. Meredith made a brief appearance as a pumpkin. The trick-or-treating scene was surprisingly slow in our neighborhood so there are plenty of candy leftovers!

I don't have a lot of new pictures to post, but I thought that this one was especially cute. I have been working on the latest home movie. It will be titled "Meredith's 2nd Video" and will be out soon. I will try to get a copy to anyone who wants it.

This past weekend was a very special one. Meredith got to meet her aunt Kate for the first time. Meredith seemed to love her and they hit it off immediately.




Pop and Susie came by for a visit as well.


Pop had fun playing with Meredith in the Exersaucer while Meredith got to know her new doll "Baby Katie" by eating her hat.



Kate, Nancy, Meredith and Josh went walking at the Sarah P. Duke Gardens this weekend. Meredith tried out her snuggly for the first time.


By the end of the walk, she was tuckered out.






Meredith is now 4 months old and was cleared by her pediatrician to eat rice cereal for the first time. Yummy! It was a bit messy though.
