We will no longer be using this site for our photo sharing. Instead we have started a Flickr site that will allow us to get pictures out faster. This Flickr site is private for friends and family only. You should have gotten an invite, but if you didn't, give me a call or email and I'll be happy to invite you.

Outer Banks Marathon
In November, the Smiths and the Gaspers vacationed together in Nags Head, NC. It was a great weekend. We stayed in a nice house right on the race route, just one block from the beach.
Meredith loves the beach.
She also loves getting shoulder rides from Pop.
Daddy and Meredith.
Beach access was limited in Nag's Head, so we frequently had to commit some friendly tresspassing to get to the beach. No one was home anyway.
Hello everybody!
Pop, Meredith, and Daddy were able to visit the only open putt putt course in town. It was a huge hit with Meredith.
It was a pretty neat course with plenty of photo opportunities.
We learned that day that Meredith was a bit of a cheater.
And she needs to work on her golf stroke. Judo Chop!
The Outer Banks Marathon ran right by our house. It was cold that morning, but the few of us too lazy or out of shape to participate stood by the road, drinking beer, cheering on the rest of the family. Yes, it was 9am and we were drinking beer.
This is the one picture I managed to get of a family member. Pop walked in the half marathon. He also took a swig of beer as he walked by, much to the chagrin of the other walkers (who were jealous).

On the last day, we took a side trip south to Cape Hatteras. The lighthouse was under construction, but it still was a lot of fun.
